Balloons... and Suction Cups.

I worked on various sculptures using balloons and suction cups... odd couple?  Yes.

I wish I hadn't chosen balloons.  They're too bright for my liking!

But the whole objective of this project was to take two materials and begin discovering their potential.  It's as simple yet as complicated as 'thinking outside of the box'.  Responding to Richard Serra's Verb List is a great help and starting point for experimenting with materials.

Then I worked on editing photos of my samples to create some interesting (let's hope) digitised images...

Sometimes you've just gotta try it.
